Yahoo! Today I am testing something new – a podcast. Well it’s sort of a Faux Podcast so maybe I’ll start calling it a “Fodcast”.
Today’s topic is “What can you NOT do”. To help you do less and get the same – or better – results. I walk you through an exercise to find the “crossover” between what you love to do (and produce) compared to what products people will happily pay you money for. Find the crossover, and life just got a whole lot easier…

Oh, and will you help me out with something?
In the comments below, will you tell me what you think of this new “fodcast” format? Like it? No Like it? Let me know! Your feedback will determine if I keep going with this.
As always, thanks for listening and reading!

Hi Jane,
Loved the podcast….I can work and listen at the same time.
I’m in a different niche, trying to uniquely color ready made garments, but I truly do get overwhelmed with trying to have something for everyone.
Thanks so much,
Jo
Hi Jo,
I understand the urge to try to please every different type of customer. I love this quote form Bill Cosby, ” I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.” You can also check out this blog post (numbers 1 and 2!!): https://fashionbrainacademy.com/blog/the-secret-to-failure/
Love the podcast! I can move around my studio and listen : )
Thanks, Tara! Good to know.
Loved the podcast! Great info (as usual) on aligning interest/passion with profitability when producing merchandise. Keep up the great work and I look forward to taking the course soon! 🙂
Thanks, Tara. I love the way you put that, “aligning interest/passion with producing merch”. Well said.
Love getting to just listen, great idea!
Thanks for your feedback, Christen!
