I’ve had multiple experiences of “mansplaining” this week.

It’s not cool.

This is NOT a bash against men. Men are amazing. I have a husband & 2 boys I adored my Dad. Doh.

But it’s frustrating that when you’re a grown-ass woman and men still feel the need to explain everything to you – cars, the industry you’ve been in for years, golf…all the things.

I found What Would Chad Do (WWCD) by the amazing Vivian Kaye. WWCD is meant “to help you to immediately dismiss any self-limiting beliefs that pop in your head”.

Chad is the average dude that thinks his shizzle doesn’t stink. You know the type. He’s the one who gets the job when he only checks off 2 out of the 5 boxes. He’s the guy that says he’s giving you a new book and it turns out to be the exact same material in a book he wrote years ago.

Chad is a mood, an energy, an attitude, a mindset.

Could you use more of your own Chad attitude in your life?

I’m committing to my own 4X40. I’m doing a FREE 40-minute coaching session for 4 people and then I’ll feature you on my podcast.

  1. mansplaining can be funny there is a 1952 movie call “Pat and Mike” Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy

    Plot
Pat Pemberton (Katharine Hepburn) is a brilliant athlete who loses her confidence whenever her charming but overbearing fiancé Collier (William Ching) is around. Women’s golf and tennis championships are within her reach; however, she gets flustered by his presence at the contests. He wants her to give up her goal and marry him, but Pat does not give up on herself that easily. She enlists the help of Mike Conovan (Spencer Tracy), a slightly shady sports promoter. Together they face mobsters, a jealous boxer (Aldo Ray), and a growing mutual attraction.
